Getting to Lacco Ameno |

airplane
When you arrive at the Naples International
Airport, by bus, taxi or microtaxi you can reach
the Beverello Dock (Linee Lauro and Caremar
hydrofoils and ferries)or the Mergellina Dock
(Linee Lauro and SNAV hydrofoils) or the Pozzuoli
Harbour (Medmar and Caremar ferries).
Ferries arrive at the Ischia Harbour only; while
hydrofoils arrive at Casamicciola, too.

By train
In Naples the main stations are:
Piazza Garibaldi-Central Station and Naples-Mergellina
Station.
If you arrive at Piazza Garibaldi-Central Station, by taxi,
bus, tram, in transit in front of the station, you can reach
Beverello Dock at a distance of 2 km.
When you are at the harbour, you can take a ferry or a
hydrofoil to the Island of Ischia.
The lenght of crossing is 90 minutes by ferry; 40 minutes by
hydrofoil. The companies which use this port are Caremar and
Linee Lauro which land at Ischia Harbour.
If you arrive at Naples-Mergellina Station, you can reach
Mergellina Dock at a distance of 500 metres. The companies
which use this port are: Linee Lauro which land at Ischia
Harbour and Forio; Snav which land at Casamicciola Terme.
The lenght of crossing is 35 minutes.
Hydrofoils are for passengers and luggages only.

By car
When you arrive at the motorway toll brooths, go to Naples
Tangenziale, using the slip roads. Go in direction of Pozzuoli
and leave the Tangenziale at Via Campana exit. Then follow
directions to Pozzuoli Harbour (Medmar and Caremar ferries).
The
lenght of
crossing from Pozzuoli to Ischia
is about 60 minutes. |
